DOT.Bigfoot...The web has a wealth of "Sasquatch" information and opinion. Many good sites are gathering and processing information from eyewitness reports and researchers, both amateur and professional. The field is a hotbed of competition for the "Big Piece of The Puzzle". There is in the midst of the "hoopla" a very serious debate... " Kill or No Kill". Some argue that without a body, "mainstream science" will never investigate the field, and for that reason they propose killing a specimen.
On the other side are those who consider that tantamount to murder. The owners and contributors are firmly part of the latter group.

Fame and Fortune.... Many of the followers of and participants in the Bigfoot search believe that there is real money at the end of the mystery. This and the need for recognition are responsible for much friction and in-fighting among the various factions and groups. This site is going to adhere to a "no profit" stance. The site and all the projects within are privately funded and operated. The site will seek to refrain from bashing other organizations or individuals or touting ourselves as " The Experts". If you don't believe us or disapprove of our message or methods, you can't argue that we are in it for the money or recognition.

Prove it.... We can't, so we won't try. We are presenting what we have done and what we have discovered while doing it. These are called "Interactive Study" experiments. If you find an area you believe to be inhabited or visited on a regular basis by Sasquatch or Bigfoot groups or "Clans", a variety of gifts can be left for the creatures. The gifts are often taken and occasionally gifts are given in return. Some have discovered that their homes and farms are visited by "Sasquatch or Bigfoot"and have formed a relationship with these "visitors". Our hope is that what we share will fill an open minded reader with the respect we have found for "The Shadowfolk"

On Being Open..... In an effort to keep the identity and locations of our participants from the public we sometimes withhold information. Please understand that some of the contributors have Sasquatch family groups or clans visiting their property on a regular basis. They and we are very protective of our own privacy and the privacy and protection of our visitors. We will make every effort to be as open as we can and still keep any threat to the "Shadowfolk" at a minimum. We have found out the hard way that not everyone respects the rights of others to approach this type of research in their own way. It is not our intent to decieve.

A Word of Caution..... All of the interactions described on this site contain a certain amount of risk. Not all encounters are friendly and the creature you come in contact with can act unpredictably. Think long and hard about the commitment involved in doing what some of our contributors do. If you find yourself in an encounter with a Bigfoot, it has been suggested that you take a submissive posture, look at the ground, and back away slowly. Do Not Run... Do Not Approach Their Young

We've gone past proving their existence to asking "what now". We have one goal... to promote understanding, tolerance, and protection for an often misunderstood and sometimes mistreated fellow inhabitant of our planet.
